Before you start
You need permission to manage a LINE Official Account and its provider in the LINE Developers Console. Keep channel credentials private.
Step 1
Create a LINE Messaging API channel
Start from LINE Official Account Manager. Messaging API channels can no longer be created directly in the LINE Developers Console.
- Create a LINE Official Account, or open the account you want to connect.
- Open Settings, select Messaging API, and enable the Messaging API for the account.
- Select or create the LINE provider that will own the Messaging API channel.
Step 2
Copy the LINE credentials
Open the channel in the LINE Developers Console and collect the values required by LunosLab.
- From Basic settings, copy the Channel ID. Enter this value as Channel ID in LunosLab.
- From Basic settings, copy the Channel secret. Enter this value as Channel Secret in LunosLab.
- From Messaging API, issue or copy a channel access token and enter it as Channel Access Token in LunosLab.
- Do not share the Channel secret or access token outside trusted administrators.
Step 3
Create the channel in LunosLab
Open your hotel workspace and create a LINE channel using the values copied from LINE.
- Go to Channels, select Create channel, and choose LINE.
- Enter a channel name, Channel ID, Channel Secret, and Channel Access Token.
- Select Create. When creation succeeds, return to the Channels list.
Step 4
Add the webhook URL to LINE
Connect LINE events to the channel endpoint generated by LunosLab.
- In the LunosLab Channels list, find the new LINE channel and select Copy webhook URL.
- In the LINE Developers Console, open the Messaging API tab. Under Webhook settings, select Edit, paste the URL into Webhook URL, and select Update.
- Select Verify. LINE should report Success for the HTTPS endpoint.
- Enable Use webhook so LINE sends messages and account events to LunosLab.
